I create immersive visual experiences that bring stories to life through film, projection, animation, set and live performance.

 

Over the past 25 years as a Creative Director, Video Designer, Producer and Editor, I’ve collaborated with choreographers, orchestras, museums, theatres and cultural organisations around the world, creating video design and immersive installations for live performance, world tours, exhibitions and public spaces.

My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, technology and performance, spanning site-specific installations, large-scale live productions, theatre, galleries and museums — places where moving image becomes an integral part of the audience experience. Alongside this, I continue to work across short-form film and documentary.

 

Recent commissions and collaborations include Akram Khan, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Pete Townshend, San Francisco Symphony, the British Council, New World Symphony, the Pina Bausch Foundation, Nitin Sawhney, Cirque du Soleil, Ben Okri, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Michael Tilson Thomas, Matthew Herbert, Clod Ensemble, Ludovico Einaudi, George Fenton, UNESCO, Dickson MBI Company, Boy Blue, Avant Garde Dance, Madness, the Royal Opera House, BBC and Channel 4.

 

I am inspired by unexpected connections and like to tell stories that challenge assumptions by looking at the world from an unexpected angle.

 

Alongside my creative practice, I am an experienced mentor and have worked with visual artists and creators at many different stages of their careers. I enjoy helping people develop ideas, find clarity in their creative direction and navigate the practical challenges of turning ambitious ideas into finished work.
